    Life in Melbourne is more sustainable than Sydney, but pales in comparison with Darwin and Brisbane, according to a new ranking system devised by one of Australia's premier environmental groups.

    The Northern Territory capital was found to be the country's most sustainable city based on an Australian Conservation Foundation analysis of 15 categories in three areas: environmental performance, quality of life and long-term resilience.
